Dental crowns or “caps" serve to preserve the use of damaged teeth. Crowns can insulate and protect a cracked tooth, restore a tooth with extreme decay, or be used to replace a pre-existing crown. The types of dental bridges range according to need and include: conventional fixed bridges, cantilever bridges, and resin bonded bridges.
